X3 on oversized downspouts for sure. Did that when I had my last ones put in. Moved to new place that does not have them. Big difference. Also, the hidden/K mount with the screws is far superior to the gutter nail type. If you ever have to repair or replace, it is much easier and more durable overall.

Reading that cost guide… When I build my place back in 2002, I had the seamless guy do copper. At that time it was CHEAPER than Alum. Same deal with roof. It was cheaper to do copper than Steel. I had a 3700 SF house gutters with a big 12/12 roof done for under $3k in all copper. Looks like things have certainly changed.

For your part: Be sure to have adequate drain tile to take the water somewhere.

Troll around Lowe's or sheetmetal/roofing shops to spot the guy with the gutter machine on a trailer etc. They will be psyched for the lift!
