Silver HO car painted black & delivered to Pontiac HQ is indeed in a Michigan collection.

Crusty is a term that is better defined by your geographic location. Crusty for Texas could be near rust free in the north.

No doubt it needs some work but far less than some of the other F-bodies that have been restored around here lately and with a much better back story to go with it.

Good cars get bad raps here for no good reason Lloyd, but I don't for a second think your words constituted that. We've seen cars here get highly documented detailings only to be fully restored with NOS sheet metal by the next owner on multiple occasions. Condition is subjective and this car's history, options and numbers matching condition far outweigh any work it may require.

This car could be the one car that kept Firebirds in production for the next 30 years!
