That little Gem was likely one of the many Pontiac's "customized" by Nudie Cohn for the Country elite.
IIRC the well known Roy Rogers Pontiac went across the block a few years back. Here's one I came across with singer Webb Pierce and his new 1961 conversion.

I believe Kid Rock now owns one of the Nudie customized '63's.

Here are some Nudie Cars (There are other Pontiacs, but I can't find my Pics of them right now). He also did Nudie Suits for tons of country and rock stars in the early 70s. Sorry, but I love this stuff. It seemed so bad at the time, but now I miss it.
