I agree, the peddler calls are getting more numerous all the time at my
business, and it has gotten to the point that I almost need to hire a phone operator
to stand around and stare at the caller ID and screen the calls. Some days I get a
peddler call about every five minutes all day long. It is driving me insane! In the last year
the problem seems to have gotten twice as bad....shame on the phone providers to allow this crap to go on!

Also useful is to block any # you get that is a sales call. You can easily do this on a cell phone. My last land line I think you did *77 after getting the call and it would block it. At least you won't get a repeat from the same # again, though I doubt it reduces the overall # of irritating calls by much. After getting screwed by Comenity Bank, in a rather royal sort of way, I did some research, & found that some companies use around 80 #s to call you on. Hard to block all that.
