yes on both monty python and no one else in my immediate universe appreciating it as much as i do.
the movies are masterpieces, but each and every episode of flying circus is where dudes were at their absolute best.

totally non-related, and not even a film, but the phony phone calls on the stern show have had people looking at me from other cars certain i'm having a seizure and giving me looks like "are you ok?".

there's a particularly topical one of richard/sal's that they play frequently, where they call an auto repair shop, say they think they threw a rod, and ask if they can play their engine over the phone. they proceed to repeatedly play the sound of a toilet flushing to the very perplexed mechanic.
sounds stupid, and it IS, but it's just stupidly aneurism-inducing.
