Got mine today too - many thanks!

Now - I just have to R&R the flares and work out how I'm going to make the top ends terminate cleanly.

Pls post some pics while you do this. I suspect that the softness of this welting will make a clean end fairly easy to do.

Will do - I'll start a new thread in the 74-76 section with some before, progress and after pictures. I've never been happy with the way the welting rolls over at the top of the flares and the termination on the end looks very scruffy up close.

The welting on My '74 has done the same thing as yours. To me it looks like it has shrunken with age and rolled. So I'll be following your thread as well.
