Hey guys. It's been several years since I sold my Formula. I am recently divorced and have been going through my spare parts. I'm hoping someone can help me ID them and give Some advice as far as a fair selling price. Thanks in advance

Probably about 73-75. 160 mph. Look for a date code on the back. Prices vary widely on these. Check out Ebay's completed listings to get an idea.

looks like a 1972-1974 gauge cluster set to me.

1970/1971 had just a "brake" light at the bottom of the speedo;
that one has the seatbelt warning which first showed up in 1972.

The 1975 gauges are unique because the '75 speedo had KPH in blue.

The back of the gauge cluster (most notably the back of the tach) would help narrow it down;
There may be a stamped date on the top of the cluster housing too.

Stamped '75. The bezel with the four holes (A/C) looks like an early 70s one -- gauges are wrong though. I'd have been interested in it if it was non A/C. The other one (radial tuned suspension tag) is 73+

The RTS dash is for 75 and newer.
The non-RTS has the wrong cluster in it, put the other cluster in there instead.



The 100 MPH clusters are for 75 and up.

sorry for the confusion. I posted the pic of the back of the 100 speedo. these are from the back of the 160 speedo. kinda looks like 71 to me.

The non-RTS TA dash bezel is 1973-74.

compare the two backs of thos gauge clusters;
notice how one has a smaller (12 conact points) plug versus the other larger (16 contact points) plug?
That change over was done some time during 1972;
Now I know that 70/71 speedos just have a brake light on the bottom of the speedo, while 73+ have both a brake and seatbelt light on the bottom of the speedo;
I am not an expert on 1972 gauges, but I'd guess the it's either a 1972 cluster, or a set assembled from other sets in a 70/71 housing.
I had thought that all 70-72 tachs only had the single prong on the back.
I do recall that the 70/71 clocks used a unique black knob, but am unsure what is correct for 1972.

I am curious as to why there appears to be a wire grounded to the circuit board, and going int the gauge cluster...

I stand corrected on the kph gauges;
the 100mph speedo with kph in blue is a 75-78 thing;
that speedo was teamed with an 8k rpm tach for 75/76 - so that set is either 75 or 76.
-77-79 gauges had a 6k rpm tach
-79 gauhes had a clock with quartz movement (iirc), and the kph turned orange (this was also the first year where export cars could have kph as the predominant reading)
-80/80 gauges look very different

As previously mentioned the TA dash insert which is setup for A/C is a 73/74 unit based on the lack of an RTS badge (or holes to mount said badge);
The other ones are 1975-1979 based on the presence of the RTS badge and the arrow shaped signal indicators (80/81 had round indicators, and the gauge cluster had an arrow painted on the green lens of each corresponding signal spot).

Tan "Formula" wheel is 1978-1981;
IIRC the only exception to pre 1978 model year cars getting a colour matched Formula wheel were 1977 Skybirds - all other 1970-1977 Formula wheels were black.
Also, 78-79 Formula wheels differ from 80/81 wheels in that 78-79 wheels used a brushed aluminum wheel core which was painted black/transparent black, while 80/81 wheels used a steel core and get a textured black paint finish.
(I believe the collar had a different texture finish, but am not sure right now.)

The Holley Street Dominator is a great (albeit discontinued) mid-rise, single-plane intake manifold.

The distributor can really only be ID'd by the stamped number...
