This was taken from the front steps of the Capitol Building looking toward the Temple of Justice in Olympia, WA. Probably taken in the late 60s.
My first Pontiac in the foreground.

You can always tell a car guy from one who isn't. All the way over on a end space.

My cousin had the twin to your '62 back in the early 80s except that his had a red interior. I see my first car in that photo too. The red '63 Impala next to the white wagon looks exactly like the one I had in H.S.

I'd take the 55 Olds 98. The wagon is a mid 60's Rambler

Looks about like the one my Dad had.

It looks pretty smoggy out. Check out the White Castle restaurant in the background.

I was told it was taken in Detroit, but I do not think so, The Street cars were gone by 1960 in Detroit, I was thinking maybe Toronto, but nothing other than the Street cars look correct. we do have White Castles so maybe? I don't think its Smog but just plain old fog.

I did some cross referencing with US cities that had White Castles, and still had Streetcars in the 1960's, the only possibilities I can come up with are Pittsburgh last Streetcars ran in late 1963 so this could possibly be an early production 64 GTO, but the land looks to flat for Pitt, and Philadelphia had Streetcars until 1992.

I will have to look up inter city lines in the mid 60's to check color schemes

I think I have a Match Pittsburgh, and the 1st picture seems to show they operated into the 70's at least, not 1963 like the other site stated.

Blasphemy! They are fine dining establishments. A lot of folks go there on Valentines Day, that is if you can get a reservation. They started doing that years ago on a joke I think and it was a hit so they kept it.
