I missed that Dennis. Ride and handling sure adds to the coolness too. Honeys too.
I'm thinking it's a 60k car cool. 4 speed would add to that. 65-70. Not a 85k unless it's a 1000 pointer. Imho

Happy New Year to the 455 HO Forum!
What better way to celebrate the new year than with a report on a '72 TA 455HO YE coded dyno session from last week! This is a Jim Robertson (RACE Engineering) built engine. Jim is a member here on the forums, and a true round port scientist! He can make big horsepower out these great engines. The specifications (constraints in his mind) I give Jim is to maintain a stock appearing look, so concour restorations can be completed without addition of external performance equipment, so all work is done on the internals. There are other posts on this thread that explain in detail some of Jim's mod's, so I'm just posting the results here. I have a thread on the '72 TA automatic column shift 'Sister' that this engine is from. I'll be posting more information on the engine build there. It's a colorful story for sure. Here's a link to the thread: http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...hlight=sniffed This is my second engine to be built by Jim. The results here are extremely similar to the '72 TA WD that we dyno'd in 2013. Those results are posted on page 93 of this thread. In addition to recording the results of the performance of the YE, we also did some experimentation with exhaust equipment testing OEM manifolds, Hooker Super Comp. headers and the infamous Ron Watt Tribal Tri Y headers. Those results will be posted in a new thread on the forums in the coming days. Finally, results: 7042270 carb with CE rods (CR is stock but the engine ran lean so CE's helped by about 10HP) 38 degrees BTDC timing Horsepower: 475 HP Torque: 541 ft-lbs Enjoy! https://vimeo.com/197687895 https://vimeo.com/197688223 https://vimeo.com/197688407
