I picked up the incident report at the Pleasant Grove police dept late yesterday. $10. I've lived in PG since 1989 and have never been through the PD door.
![]() I'll fax the 4 page report to the Hagerty adjuster when I get to the office later. The car will move but it's not really driveable, with the fender lip pushed directly over the tire. Taking it for an estimate is gonna be tough.

Just got home from Pearl Harbor (went out for the 75th anniversary of the attack) and read this. It's a fear of mine too, that someone will hit me, as I enjoy driving my car too. I would mention this to your adjuster. I'm sure Hagerty will pay for flatbed service to get a temporary repair done to make the car driveable. I'm sure you could probably bend it yourself to gain the clearance necessary - but it would be better to let a professional do it. Steps 1 and 2 have gone just as I expected. Hopefully the rest of the process goes as smoothly and you have your car back from paint hell soon. |

Did you happen to see (and/or hear) the Jacksonville State Univ. band?

I'm planning to start a separate thread with some photos from the Diamondhead WWII observation bunker taken on Dec 5th, some from Pearl Harbor taken on Dec 6th when I toured the Arizona Memorial and the USS Missouri and some from the parade on Dec 7th. It was truly humbling to be out there for this historic anniversary. All 5 USS Arizona survivors were there - the oldest was Ray Chavez - 104 years old... James Downing, the second oldest (only 103) was one of the speakers at the opening ceremony for the parade - very excellent speaker with a solid message. |
