Don't even know what to say. Stunned by the news. You will be missed. Prayers to his family. RIP Mike.

I talked to Mike Wednesday night when he and Aaron were on their way to this hunting trip.

We spoke about how high he set the bar with E-heads and how hard it was going to be to impress with "better" parts.

We spoke of arrangements for getting my new motor on the dyno.
Again with him facilitating and helping to make things happen for me.
Like he was always willing to do ......

I've never known anyone with more hustle than Mike ..... But he was always willing to take time to help others.

I really can't believe he's gone.

Met Mike and his Family at Norwalk a few years back. Wow, what a nice guy. The newsprint has made me angry.

I feel fortunate I got to know Mike and spend sometime with him. A few years back we took his engine apart, I think he just wanted to show me it wasn't all that tricked out.

I was going through a few of his text messages today, I thought I would share one.

"We need to turn Toms motor up, no more F-ing around. It's time to put the big boy pants on and go kick some ass."

He was giving me advice on a customers engine, fact is he just wanted to see people go faster.

It's so sad that some asshole driving drunk in a semi took him from his family and friends. Seems like his sons really needed him. Hope that guy gets what he deserves. I saw the photo of his truck and it made me sick.
RIP Mike.

I am sad to say that I am from Ontario Canada and I have a drivers licence to drive Tractor Trailers. I do not drive anything that big. The Ministry of Transportation changed the licencing procedures recently because a lot of people from other Countries would come to the Toronto area pay for this special licence, not do the training and log the hours needed to drive these rigs and now have a licence. Where they came from they only ever drove camels, donkeys, cows.....
Yes John, Chris, Tom and all the rest of Mike's family and friends, I am F--king MAD. I only met Mike that one weekend a month and a half ago and my heart is killing me. Anyone mad at the truth I speak, tell me to my face I am wrong!!! The only good that can come out of this is what a friend said to me today. Mike was put in this world to carry out Gods wishes, his goodness, his good heartiness, his being a great father and all the other great things Mike did for everyone. I guess he did all of that and now God wanted him back beside him. I am still very angry. RIP Mike, knowing you made me a better person. Thanks Mike

I know what you mean Stallion. I cringe every time i meet a rig on the highway. and that's on a standard day on the 401. No training anymore. But to be drunk is inexcusable and no one deserves to be taken in that way. RIP Mike.

... this will be how I remember Mike ...

... I was lucky to spend just a little bit of time with Mike at Norwalk, we were not best friends but I did have many opportunities to speak with him on the phone and he was very capable of sticking it right in your ear and just as capable of giving his support or confidence, it just pisses me off to the see the details of what took him, that truck driver needs to pay for the life he took, at the very least ...

... His poor son, that's just not fair, and I can relate completely to that kind of loss, just such a shame this happened ...
