Personally, I never liked those covers with the round holes in them.
Here is a pic of my first '68 the day I brought it home in '82. Unmolested except for the pushed in front bumper/hood, faded paint and that goofy door ding strip. Wheel discs and tires got swapped for Rally IIs and white letters in short order. Bumper took a couple of months....Never did get the faded paint re-done. Unusual that it had headrests and a rally stripe.

Don't get me wrong, RII's and redlines are the nicest set up on 68-69 Goats (both mine are set up that way now and when new) but since variety is the spice of life and almost every GTO has them today it's nice to see different hubcaps and tires to reflect the truth that half of GTO's sold new were not "hot" cars with all the trick stuff but being bought with air conditioners and decor groups by Catalina and LeMans buyers who just liked the style or sporty image of a GTO.
