When the repair bills become more than the car is worth. Or perhaps when the car is older than the driver?

Lol, funny you mention that. When I was growing up, got my license, my daily driver was a 56 nomad, still have it. Drove it through high school when other kids were driving new cars, drove it throughout the late 80's and early 90's when all you saw on the road were fox mustangs and Iroc Z's. Been around that car all my life so that's probably why I just don't view anything past the mid 1970's as an old car.
When it comes to these classics, whether it be the nomad, the 69 Z, the Formula, I haven't had a repair bill yet that comes close to the cars value. And that's one of the reasons why my wife and I both continue to daily drive these cars. |
