Time for a new battery for my SD Formula. My PHS shows: Battery-HD 10.00 UA1, which I believe is the Delco R89W with side terminals. I Would like to replace the battery with one that is correct looking and has the latest technology. Is the Delco R89W $285 from Restoration Battery the latest & greatest? Thanks!

![]() A lot of guys use the toppers. ![]() I have gone one step further with them to improve their appearance. The caps that come with them are not all that authentic looking. Original caps are pretty easy to find. I also reproduced the Danger decal correct for '73-'77 era Delcos. Late '73-up used the charcoal flame arrestor caps. ![]() Early to mid '73 still used the vented caps with the eye. ![]() On my '77, I cut the top off an original R89WP and converted it to a topper. It's dated for 1977.
