You set a high bar. Must feel good to accomplish so much.

Color is great. You need new paint?

May I have your old paint? Car looks great to me.

Thanks Buddy!
I can't tell you how stoked I am on this rebuild! This car should be a complete "Head Turner" once we are done with her...
I am going to post a video of her taking her first trip around the block since bringing her home last November 2016....

Default Alignment Time

Blu BiYu had her turn on the "Rack" at Hubbard GM Center in Monticello, Indiana...
We had to turn over the Upper Control Arm Shaft. The new ones I installed are offset. Makes it so much easier to align with less shims....
Looks much different on a lift.....She cleans up pretty good for an "Ole' Girl" of 46 years....

That exhaust system looks familiar to me. Great choice!

Kurt,
Bumpers look great. Was the rear not good enough condition to re-chrome?

Thanks WC,
Yes it is, but I thought new rear would be a better way to go. The photo shows where the bad spots are on both original bumpers

We have been working a couple of days a week on Blu BiYu at Basic Body and Paint. Clark Gick now has the left rear 1/4 in place. It looks outstanding and we can hardly wait to get started on the passenger side....
Clark welding things into their permanent place.
We have everything on the driver's side fit and ready to weld...Clark says, "Okay Kurt, this side you watched...The other side....go for it"...and go for it I did!

Had some wonderful news yesterday as I "uncovered" my right front fender...
Solid from one end to the other!...
These fenders are like hen's teeth! Try to find one or for that matter, a pair in this condition...
Need to do a little work on the drivers side fender. Not a problem! At least I don't have to find "new" ones....not real sure they are out there....
