Glad to hear that you improved the cars drive ability for those Friday night beer runs.

But for the comparison to be any wheres close to even you would have had to replace a 10.5 with a 265/275 DR.

No, not really. A 29.5-10.5W has a 11.2 tread the 315 PRO drag radial has a 11.4 tread.

Both fit on the same 14" wide rim

So no honest in labeling.
A 10.5 is really 11.2 and a 315 / 12.4 is really 11.4

Lol! I went though the same thing. Ill never go back either ..

Use to have to drive the car to go straight when shifting to the next gear . Now just point and go....

"point and go" (boring) is the exact reason I converted my '68 Firebird to a stick car. Much more entertaining.
