Seems grid is a high failure item.
Most good EFI systems like MS3 Pro or Holley that have coil on plug and other ignition options can do everything grid does if not more. Keep in mind you can just run ignition side keep your carb till ready to run fuel side on injection.

Study up guys. Lots of info on YB. And with all capabilities and data logging it just seems dumb to keep hoping MSD gets things right. Sorry they just don't seem to be the company they used to be.
My grid is 3 years old. Maybe I can go 4.5s with a new one? Lol

Doubt new adds anything

So, maybe you should check on the other ECM cars and make sure they got them hooked up as well as yours?

Little Jack already needs a new one(maybe)???

Time to maybe make a bit of beer/food money and offer your services?
Anyway you know I've been a fan of your car since I met you at VMP Ram race in 2009.

I don't need Jeff or you to show me how to unplug one box and plug another one in.

The new ones are made in China. I ordered another one so I guess we will see if that fixes it.

Jack, do you leave the download cable in the car hooked up to the grid?

There was a guy racing against us last year and he had a hell of a time with his grid. It wouldn't do the same thing twice. An MSD tech spent 8 hours with him trying to figure it out and finally pulled that cable completely out of the car and that cured it. That cable is unshielded and effects the grid and the rest of the wiring.

It's free to pull that wire out and try it.
