So Mr. Fulton went almost .10 quicker at 120 more weight (thats what I been saying) thats equals to like .10, so do some maths that almost .20 quicker and at that ET that adds up to a lot more HP! I also was there when he ran that 7.62............I just forgot.
So thats another "Heads Up" Racer making the SWITCH to go quicker!
As for the H & M non RA5 head............its just another head that e-headed racers will make the SWITCH too.........if they can afford it! LOL!

George, what is "non RA5" about the H&M head? Is it not inline and EIEIIEIE?

Well it's just my opinion but a RA5 head has the pushrods going threw the port.

So because of that they're non 5's? Got it, and what makes a Warp 6 Pontiac? Other than it bolts to one.

Well thats it.........It bolts to a Pontiac block and its made for a Pontiac engine by Pontiac guys, its not my cup of tea, I do prefer the RA5 head, I'm not a CV type of guy. The H & M head when it comes out will be a kick ass head, i don't have a problem with it....its just not a RA5 head, call it something else....maybe H & M Billet

I guess if I get a set of Brad 8 Hemi heads to fit on a Pontiac block then they'll become Pontiac heads too.

And at the end of the day it really doesn't matter what you think they should be called. Dave calls them 5's so they are. They're his heads after all.

It only matters to me what I think.

GTO George,
So we now know the real reason the you do not like "E" heads. Because Edelbrock hates Pontiacs. So do you check even part you buy to make sure that it was made by "Pontiac Guys"?

Oh Hell Stan I don't hate E-Heads damn it I owned a set, they are what they are and nothing more. I just think edelbrock could have done more for US Pontiac racers. If it wasn't for the first set of Aluminum D-Port heads that came out Edelbrock would have never come out with theirs, same goes with Larry Wensler heads. How long do you think it would have taken Edelbrock to come out with their aluminum head for a Pontiac if it wasn't for Larry? Thats how much they Edelbrock care about us Pontiac Racers!

George, Edelbrock doesn't get credit for any of the other parts offered for our Pontiac's? I just ordered some black krinkle nostalgic looking valve covers for a customer, I wasn't even aware they existed... so they must of come out fairly recent. Their mechanical full pump kicks butt and it's the best pump per dollar spent on the market. They offer a complete line of manifolds and valve covers. They changed the machining process on their heads so the valley pans fit and seal better. It doesn't require trimming the pan or grinding the manifold to make them fit (let's see how soon the other manufacturers make that change). They even offer a quality aluminum water pump for our cars along with several dress up items... not to mention the most powerful dyno'd Pontiac head on the planet!

Well let me put this another way. I have a set of 614's that have a pushrod tube protruding into the runner. Ra4's didn't come with a pushrod tube in the runner. So are these not 4's anymore? Yea they are, and the H&M heads are 5's because the valve layout is the same.
