Have examined same late Oct dated 48's, as well as early to mid K of '68 heads on quite a few original YZ & WS engines from pattern Judges, as well as one very original March built non pattern Judge out of the Lakewood plant. It's the H of 68 dated 48's, I've always considered early, too early for RAIII use, lesser value. If your 48's are in good core shape, no rust pocks in the chambers, no other damage, then they are very desirable date range.
