Didn't take anything apart yet but the perfect plugs suggest that we'll find 8 good pistons inside. Eric

I will report back on any engine damage, but it may be 3-4 weeks out. We have some charity work and some school visits to make with the car the next several weeks and the car needs to be together. I spot checked the valve lash and it looked good, we drained the oil and nothing horrible in the oil drain pans, engine seems to roll over nicely. But with a nitro engine, it's still no guarantee of true condition. It seems to be OK. Worked very hard to run the best possible in front of Arnie, his family and the fans. The rain for several days before the event and the lack of heat in the track surface just wouldn't let the car stay hooked all the way. We compensated the best we could and the clutch was near perfect as it never locked-up all the way during the run. Still overpowered the track at about 6-700 feet. The track crew at Cordova did an excellent job under the circumstances making the 1/8 mile really good. It was a good time and we think Arnie really enjoyed himself too. Had a chance to meet and talk to the heavy hitters in the Oldsmobile world too. It was very interesting and educational. This is not a slam in any way, but the Olds guys are kinda where we were with our Pontiacs 10-15 years ago. Meaning they just now have their first aftermarket Olds block capable of big power. They are a passionate group like us starving for high grade race parts for their engines. They brought some really nice iron to the event, Buick too.

I have no way of knowing where you lifted. If I have the numbers right from your 6.027 run. That had a 5.092 to 1000 feet and 3.986 to the 1/8 mile. ► 6.027 - 5.092 = 0.935 split time 1000 ft to 1/4 mile ► 5.004 + 0.935 = 5.939 et ------- ► 6.027 - 3.9862 = 2.0408 split time 1/8 mile to 1/4 mile ► 3.882 + 2.0408 = 5.9228 et Stan
