Here's one for the experts. The license plate bracket on the left (labeled "A") is the original that I just removed from the 04D '70 Norwood car. The one on the right was in my spare parts stash, and matches another spare I have. Both likely came from '70 models, as that's about all I've ever had.
The one on the right (labeled "B") has revised cutouts in the main stamping that enable access to the mounting studs even when the plate bracket is in the up position. Typical of GM, they both have the same part number stamped into them, even though there was clearly a design change. I suspect the one labeled "A" was an "early" style, and the one labeled "B" was the later style. Anybody else have one like "A", and if so when was the car built?
