I love the look of lacquer factory paint cars like that pic from I Dream of Jeannie. These base coat clear coat paint jobs are like a colored mirror...you look at a car and just see reflections of the background like a mirror.

Greg, I just saw a car for sale online this week that had the original paint (Verdoro Green) with this White stripe. I just searched for it but came up empty. Dang it! I'll keep looking.

Actually Greg, I think that looks pretty good. Looks good on the yellow one above too.

I remember 66 or 67 chevelle Super Sports having a similar stripe as well. Accents the body line down there and breaks it up just enough to be subtle.

They should fire the guy who painted the stripe on the I dream of Jeannie car, he didn't even follow the body line up front!
