When Danny Scott, Bruce, and some of the other Detroit Street Racers "Raced" with their "FASTEST Street Cars" (DETROIT STREETS) they parked the trailers 1/2 mile away and drove down the street to the race. Finished the racing, drove back to the trailers, loaded up and took their "STREET CARS" home.

Some merit to that if the cops surrounded the race site and took the cars, at least the $$$$ truck and trailers were out of reach of the law. Not at all like the OKEY Race set-up with the cops and ambulance standing by.

Hmmmmm Danny and Bruce .....Danny Scott (I think it was "Moms Headace") and Bruce Kimmen of "Heads Up" racing both raced at Detroit Dragway but at different decades. I never raced against Danny but I did race Bruce back then he had a Wheel Standing injected Vega.....nice car, fast for back then. I remember back a long, long time ago Bruce and someone else at Indy (Div. 3 Bracket Finals) threw the manager of the Best Western Hotel in the Hotel pool.....FUN TIMES, Indy was always FUN!!
