Keith, this reminds me of something I've been wondering about.
Ever heard tell of Royal stenciling the letters "R.P." anywhere under the hood to indicate anything regarding the Bobcat package or for any reason at all really?

A few interesting pics...
A new Sizzlers set was every kid's dream on Christmas morning. I still have 4 or 5 Juice Machines. I recall they took 4 "D" size batteries. Jim Hall's advanced Chaparral cars would change motorsports forever. I shudder to think what this row of cars would be worth today. The 1969 SCCA Trans Am Series Firebird (with a 1968 nose) of Richard McDaniel experiencing some brake lockup either passing (or being passed) by George Follmer's Mustang.

I still have my Sizzlers set along with all my Hot Wheels track. I'm probably going to give them to my grandnephews in the next couple of years.

Here's a vintage ad I have. Okay, so not Pontiac oriented, but the first paragraph does allude to Pontiac.....

I seem to recall some discussion about a stamping on a block but I can't find the thread right now. K

LOL, I heard him state several times that his 327 Chevelle had WAY too much power, and that it would be a dangerous vehicle for most to drive....

A high school kid who got it from his uncle who ran a used car lot had a small block 64 Chevelle back in the mid-late 1960's and it ran very-very strong on the street and strip!

I really wanted a '65 Chevelle back in the day. I tried to buy a dark blue, 2 dr hardtop, 327 4bbl. back in '74 for $500...I only had four bills to spend... Settled for a '63 Impala.

I love L79 Chevelles. I owned a 67 L79 Nova back in the 1980s. SCARY FAST. Could never get it to hook up. Fun car. Should have kept it. Sold it in 1987 after buying a new Turbo Buick (another fun car).

Those could be 1967 GTB's. I wonder if all of them are coupes. One of my customers ran his '67 N.A.R.T. Spyder through the Monterey auction in 2013. It did well. Like world record well. https://blog.caranddriver.com/eddies...4-nart-spyder/ |

The photos aren't all that vintage, from 2004, but are of a vintage car.

These may have been posted earlier in the thread. Anyway, ran across them and wanted to share. That GTO brochure photo is one of my all time favorites, I just wish it had been printed on slick paper with a higher resolution.

I wonder if anybody tried to de-salt that Pontiac?
