I can measure the fan clutch neck if you want. Not in the car so I can't show you how it fits in the shroud. The 68 clutch I have does have a bit of a neck on it, without running down to the shop I'd say about 1 inch of shaft showing before it gets to the mounting flange. Yes, no spacer that I have ever seen on an AC car.
