Default Run On

[QUOTE=hal101;5842376
but when i turned it off it ran on for about 3 or 4 sec
is that a sign of detonation that i cant hear or nothing to worried about?[/QUOTE]

If there is run on without spark (ignition turned off), I would call that detonation. (Just enough to keep the engine turning, maybe without hammering the bearings)
As Paul stated, if it was pre-ignition, the engine would cease to run.

When I had it I worried about it as the engine was more like bucking than running at 1-300 rpm. I don't know what the minimum rpm an oil pump requires to pump oil, but that was my concern. Did not have the presence of mind to look at oil pressure.
