Mine is on Ancestry, they list all probable/possible matches of people that have been tested at Ancestry up to about the 5th to 8th cousins. As you can see I have 336 4th cousins or closer, but there are thousands of 5th to 8th cousins on my list. Sometimes I will just pick a 8th cousin out of the list and contact them to see what their family story is. About 85 % of the connection is from one family that came to America from England in 1634, the Winchell family.
I have also found and talked to some of my relatives living in Belgium and the Netherlands. I have not checked with any of German relatives, that's my brother's job.

I used Ancestry DNA to help two adopted friends find their birth parents. One was a piece of cake and took about 2 weeks.
The other took years.... |
