Just curious if this might be an original equipment wheel cylinder? I googled the number & didn't find anything. going to rebuild & restore them if they are GM originals. Kinda cool seeing USA stamped on all the seals & casting.

the dust seals fit inside the housing ends, rather than over the outside like most replacements.

Thoughts?

Here is a pic of a front wheel cylinder pulled off a 68 Lemans ... could be original. The other side of the same car had an equally old one with Wagner/Lockheed on it, and USA on the reverse side.

I'd guess up until the 80's the aftermarket units were still made in the USA.

Can you post a pict if you have them laying nearby? Just curious what they look like as I
am not sure I have ever seen an original. I will probably either rebuild the ones I have or use the ones I bought years back. However they are probably china made, so I would at least like to rebuild USA made units.. Most of the rebuild kits I see though, have the dust boots that fit over the edges of the housing, vs pushing into the ends like the originals had.
