I still have piles of Pontiac parts and a race car that I race consistently. Have all my stuff except for the CNC 48s and 70 WS block. I turn every nut and bolt on my car, bumper to bumper. Not as fast as some but I am a racers, racer. Hard to keep a program together when you are on unemployment part of the year then the "new" guy, then the place closes. 3 times in a row. Lot better ,much better/stable company now. But you stuck up for a real deal "keyboard" guy who is still sore over how his "calling out " thread went for him. I know some of he reasons he does not race so much and I would not wish that on anyone, my families been through it. He is not helpless. If he wants to come at me I can take care of myself. Hope your cubed Tigers turn out great. |

Just a guess. Think I am close. If not, whatever.

Asking him if he was doing your heads. Hey, when you pull my leg in a PM about it you get what you get. Could have just said you dont want to say right now.
I have a hard time thinking you would go away from Barton, he does great work. Pro Stock guys trust him. Maybe you are selling everything, who knows. |

That's up to Brian to give you that information. We're a pretty tight lipped shop. We show some of our projects on FB but that's always with the customers okay.

True I stopped racing regularly in late 90's my ex had alot to do with that. Had to get rid of my snowmobiles for a while as well. Last time actually racing was fall 2005 @ 2 months before my first spine fracture. Was nearly year and 6 more fractures before diagnosed with multiple myeloma...(same blood cancer family as leukemia/lymphoma). It's treatable not curable. Since then a few more fractures including sternum and a few ribs. Only one vertebrae left that hasn't fractured. 3 months ago some of the Docs felt I'd be lucky to get past Christmas! I'm here! I was down to 82 lbs then...I'm up to 120... Shooting for 135-140. Ill never be back to the 185-190 lb i once was. Nor will the foot of height loss come back. The new chemo they thought was too tough for me is working quite well... In fact today starts a new cycle at a lower dose. I'm getting short distance without cane or Walker. I was down to Huntsville AL a few weekends ago. Met up with a few Pontiac racers from PY . Aaronman(and wife Jean) H.i.S. as well. Several others there I didn't get to see. Don Kennedy and Ken MacNicol(sp) among others. Anyway as I mentioned in my previous post... I'm still building a 90 Firebird...if I heal enough to race it fine, if not two of my older kids will. My one daughter has already raced my old 68 Firebird...She's light and has good instincts. And wants the job. Yeah Dragncar I don't have much to show for my racing except probably a crate of -.001 and -.002 redlights first or second round. Hope I can line up against you sometime... If not me my "kids". Remember I'm going to run turbos... Building car to be drag week capable and it will get driven to Norwalk and raced. Hopefully 2019 debut |
