My understanding has been 60 lb. for '66, 80 lb. for '67. Maybe you have a '66 gauge?

Ok, I should have said my 80 psi gauge is aftermarket. The one in the dash is 60. I shouldn't have but I assumed he was going to an aftermarket gauge and wondering if an 80 would be better than the 60, seeing he has an 80 psi sending unit installed. My bad.

The sender needs to match the gauge if you want an accurate gauge reading.
