Whoops, slip of the tongue. I grew up across the street from a Minneapolis-Moline dealership so you'd think I'd know better.

in the 2nd set of pics it looks like the rear lights are not GTO but Tempest/Lemans

Just a coincidence I'm sure,but the Vette was another Barris creation that was rejected as the Batmobile. I believe Barris kept it for many years.
