The original stuff was a less flexible plastic or poly tube. The stuff that came with this kit was a rubber-ish fuel hose reinforced with braid, that I HOPE is rated for submergance in gas. It's an OEM style replacement kit for a pile of mid to late 90's imports.

FiTech definitely needs to include a piece of flexible submersible hose instead.

Time to take it out for a night drive in 65 degree weather.

Test drive complete - never felt faster. If it wasn't so late, I'd go out and let it fully self-learn the WOT tune.

But alas, a menace to society I shall not be. Too many 55+ parks near my house.
Despite some of the local animosity felt toward the "Snowbirds", I kinda dig those peeps as long as I am not stuck behind them doing 10 mph under the speed limit. Let them sleep.

Thankfully most are leaving from here heading back to the snow I guess.

Yay! My replacement pump has finally shipped!

I am still rolling solid on my $18 pump, and will until it fails. FiTech pump will stay around as a "just in case" spare.
