Yes, hard to imagine any 79 TA's were sold to the public without the front air dam and flares installed. I have seen pics of them without the parts on the car hauling trailers, but I thought that was to prevent damage to them for loading and unloading, and that the parts were installed once the car was on the ground at the dealer.
