I've actually been out driving it the past few days. I was having trouble with air in the brake lines but it looks like I finally got it all bled out.

There is a small oil leak coming from the rear end cover gasket so I will be replacing that this week, and I'll change the fluid when I change the gasket.

I flushed the power steering fluid when I had the engine out.

The U-joins looked okay so I didn't replace them.

No comment on the condoms, and I don't usually wear cologne because my wife is super sensitive to perfumes and they cause her headaches, but when I was cleaning out the car I found this under the seat. I think it's a vintage air freshener. Have a nice day!

And they tend to get driven more that way too.

lol, I actually have that same air freshener!

I pulled the front speaker in my 71 this morning, to find it only has 1 wire going to it? So it grounds through the frame of the speaker?

I cannot say I have seen that before if it is correct. There does not appear to be any other wires available like there is on the rear speaker.

I just wanted to ask the obvious and stupid question before I send the speakers out to be rebuilt.

Yes, one green wire to the front speaker is correct.

Tim, Who is doing the speaker rebuild and are you matching factory speaker or doing custom?

I was going to send them to Jackson Speaker Service in MI. I am wanting to retain all of the ink markings and special brackets that are on the originals.
