As I recall that chrome plated latch mechanism was shared with several other GM cars from the 1962-1963 era. The Buick Special/Skylark, and the Olds F85/Cutlass bodystyle had the same folding top arrangement as the Tempest.
I would check with the Chevy Impala or Full size Oldsmobile Convertible top parts vendors, they might be able to help you. If you need the latch assembly it's kind of an expensive part but those people need new latches. It's made from cast potmetal and used ones are always corroded.

Any chance anyone has a straight 63 passenger side stainless roof drip rail trim piece to sell.
