Looks nice. The intake, from the pics looks like it has straight runners. That little twist the CV heads have on the intake port, has it been taken out on Chiefs heads ?
Or is it hard to tell from the picture ?

... while the manifold is not perfectly straight, it's not too bad, but no manifold is perfectly straight ...

... please clarify this "little twist" you mention, i don't want to make an assumption of what you're talking about ...

... thank you, it's a lot of work, but please i have zero problem with questions and will answer to the best of my ability, only time problems arise is when they are asked by bias haters, which are very obvious to see ...

Looking into this issue currently, I have contacted the forums admins to see what they can do to resolve it.

When you look at a pic of CV intake ports (never seen one in real life) the ports have a little twist to them. It looks from the pic it is not represented in the T Ram.
I thought the heads were originally based on the "Twisted Wedge" Ford head. I know the first ones had Ford exhaust.
Just wondering if his heads have had some of that straightened out with port work.
Lets try and keep this from being sh!t storm. I will try if you do the same. They may not be my favorite head but I want Chief to do well like everyone else.

The twist you are seeing is the port twisted to match to side cant of the valves. Pretty normal for canted valve heads.
Im sure Bill will correct me if im wrong.

A twisted wedge head is not called that because of a twist in the intake port...

... i'm assuming you mean from post #134 ...

... that's actually an NHRA 500c.i. ProStock engine, and that is just the bottom of the manifold as it's being fabricated ...

I feel the rocker bosses should be solid across/tied together. Possible fracture points in my opinion. Would also help support your spring pockets.
