Uh oh, that's the one I have too, the REM one. You say it's a touch short from front to back? Like, it's less than an 2 inches of slack at either end? Can you explain better how it's short?

HWY,
I don't think it is as short as it is sewn in the wrong places. Ames is in the process now of calling REM to come up with a solution.
I have 8-10 inches left over at back glass and nothing...nada....at the front....

HWY,
This is the end result. Ames contacted REM about this issue. Their first take was that I had it installed wrong (backwards). I advised them that was not the case as I tried all that nonsense before calling Ames.
So Jeremiah and I did some measuring on the actual bow locations vs actual measurements on the headliner itself.
I then suggested he take one off the shelf and measure the distances between the loops on that headliner.....They were different...even though the overall measurement was close to being the same.
My take is that REM did not cut it short, but put the loops in the wrong locations...
Measure yours on a table or floor and if you come up with what Ames had on theirs...your good to go...Remember, I needed at least 14-15 inches from the 1st bow to the Rear View Mirror to make it work..
They are sending me a new one.....
Hope this helps my friend!

Very helpful, thank you! I will measure this weekend, saves me from finding out when I actually pull the trigger and do the install.

Clark Gick is now done with all the primer on "Blu BiYu". He is now ready to back her out of the booth and finish his block sanding. Then, She's back in the booth for that beautiful 1989 Camaro Brite Blu & the Clear that makes her POP!!..

Today's Wish List...Have the headliner in completely, have the A Pillar trim along with all the Windlace installed...reinstall the console...and Pioneer am/fm 8 track stereo....Let the tunes begin!!
Will be ready to have Clark Gick order the new windshield. We can then install that and the rear glass...
THEN....She is READY for her final coats of 1989 Camaro Bright Blu....along with several coats of clear....💙OH MY💙
By then....Happy Birthday to me....September 12th...💙😎💙
