I have about 10 other examples (if you include the Russian and Chinese Patents, ALL Boost related) but look at the document all you want and if you have questions I will try to answer them. Is your patent auto related? Typically on the automotive stuff it averages 3 years from the time you submit it until they do the searches and file it as a valid patent or as not being recognized. (Basically "Prior Art" wins over your idea.)

My patent is for a recycling bin that by its construction does not require hardware to assemble or complicated proprietary parts (read that as not requiring expensive capital equipment to manufacturer the parts), yet it is "rigid". It is built in such a manner that all forces are distributed throughout the constructions instead of at "fastener points".

The idea is to have industrial durability but the design is not costly to manufacture, and actually can be sold as a "kit" instead of having to ship/transport a fully assembled unit.

The design really helps manufacturers cut costs without sacrificing durability.

After I filed the patent, I sent an example of the design to a potential customer and they claimed the unit was a failure and that it was destroyed in their testing. One of their employees anonymously told me that wasn't true, that they unit passed testing and that they kept it and were using it.

I ended up having to sue them and they returned the unit. I could see where they tried to damage the unit but it was unharmed! It actually turned out to be a great "testimony" to the design/construction.

Anyway, it is not automotive.
