![]() You really should use google before you make a post like this. That is how us keyboard racers would have done it if I didn't already know. ![]() Check out AJPE he should be somewhere in your area. Stan Stan

And I would rather ask someone who knows more than me on subjects I am looking to learn about. People over computers, well most of the time. |

But anyone who has read this thread knows you showed (as normal) your lack of knowledge on just another subject. I did actually try to help you. Like the old story abut giving a man a fish or teaching him how to fish. But you were just like that horse. While I am sure you do not understand any of this others will. Stan

Who do you help out around here really ? I have 50 NHRA trophies in my heap. I build the engine, tranny and rear end as well as install suspension. Now just how can you "help me out" ? I am about to step up in power in a pretty big way. Doing engine and tranny myself. Rear end needs nothing. You give a bunch of numbers that rarely mean anything to very many people. Your MO is to quote someone, highlight the one part you find fault with and point it out but in truth you are a troll. A no car computer only troll that hangs out in the race section. Textbook. |

He help me with some estimated hp and shift point scenarios. Most all here have a passion for the racing of our obsolete brand , that makes them racers.

Thanks. While I have had people say that to me and I have used it myself. I never knew there was a second verse. ![]() Stan

George, I understand delay boxes help you out with consistent reaction times. But they still have a human component and can be beat. Its not unusual for me to run my dial or + .01 with a reaction of .010 or better. That will get its share of wins wherever. Who the he!! do you think you are running down the people at my track and their abilities ? Its been in continuous operation since 1955. How many tracks can say that. We have a few racers that travel all over the country for big time bracket races. The Judge I posted pics of took home 40,000$ in the Million Dollar Race that Verdi won. He is tough but can be beat. Never raced him in eliminations but have beat plenty of people who have beat him. I just lost a race to a 10.90 Super Street car. Its a 8 flat car with throttle stop. The race was as close as you could get, got his respect and he was won divisional s. I cut a .027 and most of the time that gets a win, but he cut a .020. Both ran our dials. Yesterday I was HORRIBLE. Was going just fine, cut a .013 on last time trial. Then to father of the 10.90 guy along with 3 other sons that all race Fords collapsed. They pit right behind us. Choked on food or had a mini stroke. Had all the fire and ambulance people there. He is going to be OK but my head was not right after that. I do best when I think about absolutely nothing. |

Im not personally running down the racers at the only track you race at (that just SILLY), I'm just calling it like I see it! If you a Foot Braker can run S/pro and clean theirs clocks as much as you say you do , then it is what it is! Just Saying! GTO George |

That means in between the time you first see the top bulb and hit your button there is a human component. Same as when I try and time my release of my Trans brake (don't foot brake anymore, read George, read) to the bottom bulb. Its the same thing only with a delay user having slightly more control. I don't clean anyone's clock on a regular basis. I just have some good days and bad ones. Just no stranger to going rounds. Not actually asking you out here, it would be like me hauling to Norwalk. Not going to happen. But if you think a good foot braker gets his clock cleaned regularly by racers just because they run a delay box you are NUTS. Its bracket racing with rules designed to make it a level playing field. I got shut down one by a guy on his first ever pass. He had a .004 first time, what do you do with that ? BTW, you ending every "short post" with "JUST SAYING" is lame, lame and just freaking weak and childish. Its like you can say whatever snarky, crappy and degrading thing you want and make it OK with "just saying". Its the same thing kids in my school did in the 5th grade. But they would say something snarky and cover it with "no". I knew it was bad behavior then and how is yours different ? Didn't you ever grow up ?? |

And it can be done.. footbraking in an 11 second street car with flip flops and Bermuda shorts on if you know what your doing. The best they can go with those boxes is double 0 and dead on, and I can do that with my feet. Not as consistently as I did in my super pro days, I’ll grant you that, but if you get hot, it just takes a few pieces to fall in place. One lucky round here or there. Box guys get soft against us foot brakers.. they get afraid to go red so they click a few thou in they normally wouldn’t and leave the door open. ![]()

He sent so many out of town folks with delay boxes home it was not funny. I won just as much foot braking it. Its a whole different deal. My T brake broke last year and I finished the weekend foot braking. Fish out of water by now. There are many, many real fast cars a whole lot nicer than mine that have not won even half as much as me. But George will tell you they are all amateurs to take away what I have done. George and Stan are still posers. Just because you raced your wife's 'street car a few times down the track does not make you "a racer for life". And plenty of people are racers that dont even race or own a car. They live the life. Build engines, port heads ect. |

A FUNNY story..........I raced with a guy that everytime he won a round (it was because of him) or lost a round (it was never him), another words he never really looked at the REAL reasons for the WINS or LOSES because of that he NEVER got any better (basically he was fooling himself)! Just Saying! GTO George |

![]() I "borrowed" the wife's car for a footbrake race this weekend and made it to the finals but didn't close the deal. We were splitting so it really didn't matter anyway! In the limited times I've ran her car (under 30 passes total) I've now pulled 2- .000 lights with it, once off the brake and Sunday off the foot! I like her car.
