I think you are very close on that estimate. It's a nice car, but this survivor stuff is really getting a little old. That car has been thoroughly worked over from stem to stern. Nothing wrong with that, but get real. The engine compartment is way too clean and nice for that survivor stuff. Wrong air cleaner, wrong transmission, lots of little stuff. Still a very nice car for sure and if I was still looking, in the low/mid 30's I would have been a possible buyer. The car I bought is similar in many ways, Muncie trans but a 455. Built in Doraville, equivalent interior and trim. Less than 1/2 of what this guy is asking.

Just re-read the entire ad. May have been a little harsh in my above post. I see he has the original valve covers and big air cleaner. It does look really nice as I gave it a closer inspection. Also, it appears he used allot of nice quality parts in the build. I think the initial language of this "unrestored, barn find, original, untouched" stuff just is really wearing a little thin with me when it is obvious the car has had extensive work. The car stands on it's own without all that dumb language. I really like it and it may work itself into the 40-45K range if there are people actively looking for a really nice Cat.
