We live in Chalmers, Indiana 47929...not that far from each other. Just as soon a I get her complete and the weather is decent, I'll have her on the road....
We don't' own any "Trailer Queens"...If I can't drive it....I don't want it....

Kurt,
Your car looks awesome( especially the bumpers and fitment). Again, the tuxedo interior with the blue paint make me want to change to a tuxedo interior. Something wrong with the last photo; unable to view the new wheel/ tires!

Spent the day in the shop. Repainted the inner fender wells semi gloss black. While they dried, I took the day and cleaned all the sand residue along with some over spray from the front end components and the engine. After 3-4 hours, she is looking pretty good once again....
Also found a "Cold Leak" on one of the heater hoses...time is right to get that fixed....

After taking the time to De Nib the trunk and the wing, I took yesterday to completely De Nib the rest of the car. I then sanded her with both 1000 and 1500 to a "dull shine". Next I am going to apply that Magic Stuff to make her beautiful once again...and hopefully outshine her predecessor...That should take some time to accomplish.... 💙💙😎💙💙

Of all my photos of "Blu BiYu" taken in the last few months, these four get me the most excited...Her front, interior, rear end...and yes the last is so special...Steve Meacham asked Clint Minglin just WHEN his father-in-law was going to install her new wheels and tires...Steve...your wait is over!.....WELL....how do they look?

Default Lovin' the Blu!

Friday and Yesterday paid big dividends working in the shop with "Blu"....
Just like a finish carpenter, I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is where one has to take his or her time, mask off the paint, slow down and take your time....
I have the stainless trim on everything but the rear glass. Chrome is on the fenders, quarters, mirrors, door handles. Installed the stainless and the "350" on the rockers as well...
Need to finish the rear glass by filling the gap around it with seam sealer as to not let water settle at the bottom next to the rear deck filler. Having done the body work on this car, I can see now where and how these cars rusted....If I can figure this out, it can not be rocket science!...

Thanks WC!
She's been a long time comin'....The look of the front end is a big reason I bought her. I thought she resembled a 1970 Chevelle....somewhat!...Not to mention, I am a chrome type of a guy

Car looks great Kurt.

Made good progress in the car world imo. Almost two years to the day; January 2017 - January 2019...

All Pontiac front end though, very distinctive.

Kurt,
No, no, a thousand times no....unless you are planning on using Blu Biyu as a push vehicle at the local demolition derby!
