Looks way too nice for the price, wonder what the deal is? Appart from the automatic it is pretty compelling .looking car. The trunk pan shot looks like factory speckle, that says a lot. A PHS with a Los Angeles original dealer is also a good indication.
Maybe a scam?

Nice TA.
Interesting that the shipped date is 2-18-70 (for the born on date thread, long gestation? ) and the door sticker has a 10-69 date.So this TA sat for awhile possibly in zone storage. (it's on the PHS also) Or maybe a company car? Would be nice to see the cowl tag for it.

It does appear to be a pretty nice car. Did you happen to notice the sunroof?

Good eye! I didn’t catch that (lousy pics seen on my small phone screen).
I have a friend who has a very solid and numbers matching 70 TA with a 4 speed. Needs a full resto but it had a power sunroof and a aftermarket AC added back in the day. He’ll probably die with it because he doesn’t have the financial or talent resources to do what needs doing and he won’t sell. Back to this 69, looks like someone got a good deal if there were no other surprises. A good body man could graft a donor roof off a first gen F body or even weld in just a patch.
