Yea good point. No reason to focus on a potential negative.

I would detail the car to catch any compound the shop missed and enjoy it.

If it wasn’t the gaps it would be something else. You can always find something if you look hard enough. I doubt anyone else will ever notice.

+1. A friend of mine was telling me a few years ago that he needed to get his bumpers re-chromed. The next time I saw his car, they looked great and I told him "that place did a great job - that looks like a show car." He replied that he hadn't brought them in yet. They had flaws that only he could see.
