Nice Snow Geese, Mike. I didn't make a trip to see them this year. There is a refuge a couple hours North of me that gets massive flocks of them in the winter and I usually head up there in February or early March but it didn't work out this year.
Did spot this Great Horned owl at another refuge last weekend. The picture isn't all that good because he was a long way off and there were lots of little twigs & branches in the way. This is a 100% crop from a 24mp image.

Here's a bird pic:
You'd think as big as they are, that tree branch wouldn't hold it. I 1st saw it I thought it was 'floating' in the air above the tree. (Tree about 30' tall, heron about 3' tall)
