pump/ shaft
30 year ago i had almost the same issue , turn my oil pump shaft into a pretzel after closer inspect found out the lint from the red service rags got between the gear and shaft of the oil pump and seize the shaft on the pump and no i did not leave a rag in the motor, it was lint and now i only use paper towel to assemble.
