How can you tell? Is it because the code is crooked or because there is a VC stamp? I'm also looking at this one but it has the code and date stamp on the same line. I thought the date was supposed to be a line lower on the right.

Correction, the last photo is of a different carb that I am looking at but has the code and date stamp on the same line. I thought the date was supposed to be a line lower on the right? What is wrong with either of these carbs?
