Theres 2 tracks in maine,,,oxford and winterport. Winterport is more northern than oxford but they are both decent 1/8th mile tracks and both have been open a long time. Both have their own websites . The track that it ran at would probably be near whatever town you bought it out of. i raced a few times in winterport but mostly oxford from mid 80's to 2011.

I believe it was Winterport. Supposedly he drove it to the track, ran it whatever class he was in, and drove home. The seller claimed it did 88-90mph in the 1/8th way back in the day, which was respectable for the time period, especially with its air shocks and cheap traction bars, with 295-50s out back.
