There are two still near me. One of them uses the projection equipment from the drive-in that used to be in my town!
BTW, if you ever get a chance to see that, check it out. It's wild to see the film winding around the whole projector.
Nice thing about the drive-in, you can turn your truck around and lay in the back (weather permitting)….can't do that in a movie theatre.

Lol. Yep my then boyfriend had a Ranchero and that’s what we did. Lawn chairs, and blankets, and bug spray. 😁 he smoked a pipe so that helped keep bugs away too.
