Do you want a design flaw? What kind of brainless engineer would make the exhaust manifold bolts go into the water jacket? Dodge did! It may not break but it’s really stupid and cheap. I have run into a couple big block dodges leaking antifreeze into the exhaust.
Ever changed plugs on a big block dodge that’s hot?
You better be wearing asbestus gloves and sleeves, that’s if you can get to them under that stupid upside down manifold.
Ever tried to get out a power steering pump or box out of one of these big block Cudas?
That’s some real world design flaws that your average car guy is going to run into.
I’m never going to build anything that will split the lifter valley. For those who do, there is a fix.
