First of the I have never seen rust like this??? Second the guy isn't selling just sending a warning to everybody??? Third the car is interesting even though it's a total roof rust bucket! Forth this has the very rare we're tail panel??? Last this has got to be a joke??? I do spy a Formula hood and a 4spd car.

A buddy of mine wrote the ad. He drove up there to buy the car. The seller wasn't real honest about the car. I told my buddy it was probably a rust bucket as it looked like it sat under a tarp for many years.. Its a shame as it was a nice car until it met the tarp of death.. It has been sitting since 1996 outside under a tarp.. The engine is probably locked up.

Here is the original ad.. Car is rusting from the inside out....

The rust behind the trim tag should have been somewhat of an indication of the car's actual condition.

The roof looks like once upon a time someone vandalized it with brake fluid from an eye dropper.

The rust around the trim tag and spots on the roof were all I needed to see. I've looked at cars before that were stored under tarps for many years. They generally develop weird rust spots on the roof as with this car. I told him it was probably a rust bucket. He was hell bent on getting it. The seller got him all pumped up about too. He learned a lesson...

It looks like the seller delberately tried to crop the photo of the trim tag so that a big rust hole on the firewall wasn't visible.
It also looks like the tag is being held to whats left of the rusty metal by dum dum, or J-B Weld.

Ok Thanks this makes sense now. The OP was really misrepresenting that car, not a single picture of the roof. Sucks your friend drove so far to see that heap. At that price it won't ever sell. I'm going to contact the seller and tell him he's a douche!!!
